I have an eviction on my credit that I would like to pay off and it is 6 years old will it remain after paying

Answer:
Don't worry, in just another year it will disappear altogether. The Fair credit reporting act mandates that negative items, or any you don't want on there, must be removed by consumer reporting agencies in 7 years from the time of the delinquency, w/ the exception being bankruptcies which will stay on for 10 years. Patience, the FCRA is your friend.
Do you mean you have a judgment against you? Anything will remain on your credit for 7 years.
Yes, it will appear as a late payment.
Unfortunately, it will remain. However, it will also show that it has been paid off and that would be a good thing.

Good luck.
Just ignore it.
