We bought a HUD double wide home and need motor vehicle title, how do we obtain one?

We bought a HUD modular home which is considered a mobile home. We have someone interested in buying the home but their bank wants the motor vehicle title issued when the home was manufactured.how do we get this title>

Answer:
When you originally purchased the property you received paperwork from the title company this will tell you the date the home was manufactured. If you cant find the papers or need a specific form you can ask the title company for it. Good Luck KG
Go to your states motor vehicle department with the serial number
Contact the real estate agent you used to purchase it with and they should have that information in their files and if they don't they can assist you in getting it.

You can also go to the Assessor's office and get the tax information it has all of the information you will need. The title company should also have this information. They will also have a copy of the mobile home title in the County Clerk's office where it was titled.
