A couple that is sueing me is very shady.Where do I go 2 get info about them if there has been past problems?

originally they wanted some money to do a project that was damaged during the last heavy winter. a month later they wanted the full purchase price of the house and an additional $65,000. They have not backed down after trying to work with them and tell them there is nothing wrong with the house. They were told everything and even was given a extra $12,000 2 pave a driveway. There are 4 areas that are a bit shady: 1 is the money they are asking for and it rising so quickly without any new or preexisting damage, 2 he is a civillian in the military and was transferred here 2 sacramento area a year ago could he be getting transferred?, 3 the wife changed her last name back 2 her maiden in the past few months, are they getting a divorce and need 2 sell the house off quick?,4 they could be over their head wih the house payments, they have an interest only loan and it has been a year? don't know where 2 go 2 find out if there has been a problem before or if they are getitng a divorce. Help!!

Answer:
I'll do a free, thorough research of them, but I need to know their names, any and all names they have used and any info you can provide on them. I know different places to look but need more info. I spend a lot of my spare time trying to help people out, sounds like you've got your hands full. I see it's the first time you've used Yahoo! Answers,> so what you need to do is to click on my crime dog pic, that will enable you to e-mail me, <to send me the info. Other than providing you any information I can find on them, I will be of little other help, but just maybe if you have the dirt on them they might back off. Maybe, maybe not.
Hire a lawyer
What are you talking about, are you buying the house. If so don't you have a contract that you both signed, if so read it and stick to whats in written in it, they can't just keep asking for more money the terms of the contract should be follow. Please be clear when stating you problem so we can help you. And for goodness talk to your attorney you don't need dart on someone to get Justice.
Look, I don't have time to read a novel. From what I can tell, you need a lawyer. A judge will laugh them out of court. End of story.
What exactly is your question? Who owns this house, you or them? Why is any of their business your concern? What do you mean by "told everything"? Who is giving them all this money and for what?
