I have a voluntary repo (house) on my credit, can I still purchase another house?

Answer:
Generally, yes. This will depend on many factors. Talk to a very experienced mortgage broker. Mortgage bankers are good but may not be able to assist you. A good mortgage broker, with the right contacts, can usually get you a home loan. Note, the interest rate will be higher than if you had excellent credit. It's ok, it happens to most of us, sooner or later.

Best wishes,
C
You will probably have to give a written explanation and pay a higher percentage interest rate. It depends on the mortgage company that you choose to deal with.
