With administrators of various zones announcing dates for holding draws of residential plots of the various housing schemes floated by Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA), the long wait of lakhs of applicants seems to be finally over. The schedule starts with Karnal on August 7, followed by Naraingarh on August 10.
“As far as Panchkula is concerned, the draw is likely to be held by September 20. This delay is due to the number of applicants, which is quite high in Panchkula,”said a senior HUDA official. According to sources, urban estate wise dates would be available on August 7.Beginning on the second week of this month, the draw of lots for various urban estates would go on till September 15.
It may be recalled that over eight lakh applicants have subscribed to various schemes of residential plots floated by around 19 urban estates across Haryana. The schemes closed on February 24 and the deadline for holding draw of lots expires on September 25.
