When you buy a house how long does escrow take to close and get your new home?
Answer:
G'day Kala,
Thanks for the question.
It depends on the individual circumstances but I would allow for at least six weeks. You can move in on the day of closing or one or two days after.
You might also want to look at reading about the process in more details. For example, Sandy Gadow's Your Real Estate Closing is said to be well worth a read.
I have attached more sources for your reference.

depends on how fast everyone submits the paperwork needed to close. The biggest wait is for the lender to fund the loan.

The fast time I know as it taking to close escrow is 14 days but that was on a reproved loan most of the time it takes between 20 and 45 days it all depends on the lender and the escrow company
It depends on the situation. I closed my first house in 15 days. I would say the average time is 30-45 days.

Actually it depends on the buyer and sellers want and ability to close. A lender can approve and fund a loan in a week there are so many variables that can affect the ability to close quickly but it all boils down to what the buyer and the seller want and can agree upon. the rest can be coordinated with escrow and the lender.
the average is 30 days. There are a lot of variables as mentioned above.
My record is 8 days though, far from the normal.
