When making an offer to purchase a home, I was told that the TREC forms are required and cannot be changed. Meaning if I want to make a change, it has to be an attachment and is also not recommended as the seller will not likely accept changes. Is this correct? I am not understanding how this is true but wanted an expert to explain it to me. I have a rookie realtor and am wondering if I should not find someone more experienced.
Answer:
what kind of change?? most anything is covered on an amendment form but there is also a paragraph for special provisions for things a contract does not cover. if you are unsure whether or not your realtor can handle your situation, insist he/she get help from their broker.
