Try putting up cards saying what you are offering, and what you expect, at local supermarkets (each one has a community board) or at the local laudromat. If you want to have students as roommates, go to the local college and put your card up in their student union. Talk to co-workers.

if you're near any school/college/university, start putting up fliers. there are always tons of students looking for roommates.
