That seems kind of low, but try www.CraigsList.com.
go to www.apartments.com , www.bayarearentals.com or Craigs List.

But for $600 I am not sure you'll find anything unless you do shared housing and rent just a room. You'll need a roommate otherwise. A one bedroom in that area could go for $1200-$1400 low end apartments.
