In 10 years our house is about 4 times more than when we bought it. If you log onto a site called netsource.com you can enter a postcode and it will tell you every house purchase and price and door number in the road you are looking at since 2000. I got a shock, the house 3 doors down from me which is a little bigger than ours was sold 4 times in as many years, and was last sold in 2005. It started at 79k and in 2005 went at 249k. Wow. Mick
