How do find out what the taxes are on a certain property in Texas?
Answer:
Yes, property taxes in TX are set at the county level. Granbury is in Hood County, which has a cool online system:

Granbury's a nice town, I have in-laws there, and if you're buying for investment it's a good spot for the long-term population demographics.
Good luck.
You should contact the county offices to find out the taxes.
But, there are more than just county taxes.
there are also school taxes, city taxes, and a few other minor taxes.
Hopefully the County Tax office can give you ALL of the tax info on the property.
Go to the property appraiser's site in your county and search under 'Property search". Once you get there, search under owner's name, property address or tax ID or Folio number. They will have lot of data there including the last sales information.
