Has anyone heard of a government program that helps new homeowners buy homes by paying a % of the price?

I'm looking for a program in the Southern WV area. If somone could give me a name of the program it would be great.

Each state has its own programs. You would go through your county housing program. HUD has links to each state and their programs on its website. It is located at:

In addition, you could check with Habitat for Humanity in your area.

Good luck.
