I'm tired of Texas, how should I research where I should move to next?

I work for myself at home, so I just need broadband internet and I'm good to go

Answers:
Ask yourself these questions. Why am I tired of Texas? How far away from Texas do I want to move? Do I want to live in a big city or a small town? What kind of weather do I like? Do I want to live where there's snow in the winter? www.city-data.com will give you information about various cities, once you narrow it down. You should also check out the tax structures of different states & cities. A couple of states don't charge sales tax but the state income tax may be higher. In Tennesse the state income tax is low but sales tax is around 9 or 9.5%. So, try to narrow it down by location and then research, research, research. Visit different areas before you decide.
First you have to find out what bothers you about Texas and then move somewhere that has less of that.
