Where can I find a place to stay for me & my family until our house becomes available??
where we can stay that isn't gonna cost an arm and a leg?? AND do any of them accept cats?? THANKS to anyone for any and all suggestions

Try InTown Suites. I had to use them once and they seem to be the cheapest. I think they do take pets. It's not the best place to hang out because there are a lot of transients, but for two weeks it could work for you. Some locations are "cleaner" than others.

Good question if you only stated country; state; city. Good luck.
Some parks let you set up a tent for a while. Not the best for those not used to it, but after while, it gets easier if you are in moderate climate.
And, a months' rent for motel or hotel will buy a lot of tent; sleeping bags; camp stoves; insect repellent.
