I beleave this is a scam through roommates.com tina olsen in st pete picked up real money in fla. family member out 4500.00 local police ?? yea - alex from scotland, living in england moving to usa sends casheers checks . say's keep rent money & send rest to fla western union for ship yard to pick up furniture to be but on truck by tina olsen #%^#^&$%^&#W%& no truck just tina gone with cash fron western union . now bank holds account for $4500.00 PLEASE HELP

this is a typical 419scam. Unfortunently there is nothing you can do. check out 419eaters.com It is a good website and send an email to Nurse Nasty. She might be able to help you. We have been trying to fight these scammers for a while. Every year they steal about 1 millon dollars from innocent people. I know this may not be alot of help to you but do talk to NN she can help and she has contacts. Sorry. Good Luck.

You WILL get screwed if you send the money. The fake cashier's check will bounce and your bank will come after you for the whole amount.

Very common scam.
This happens all the time. Do not send them money. Take the check to the post office so they can track down the poeple.
