Any good websites or tips on saving cash?

I only make about $10 an hour and have a young child. Rent is taken care of in my home but all other household bills including cable, computer access, phone, electricity, mine and my childs health insurance (a whopping $100 a week) clothing for myself and my child, and food for the whole family falls on my shoulders. I need to start saving money and I'm at a loss as to how I can do this with all my other responsabilities.

Answer:
The important thing at this point in your life is that you start saving. The amount you save is not important, but establishing good habits is. Even though you already feel stretched too thin, get in the habit of putting $5 in a savings account every time you get paid.

I'm sure as you're at your job longer or move on to better opportunities your income will increase in time. Then you can start putting away more money.

I also make it a point to never spend loose change. (If you can get away with never spending $1's, that's even better). I put it all in a jar and when I have enough, I wrap it and take it to the bank. You'd be surprised how much it adds up.

Another thing I do is paid surveys and paid email programs online. Legitimate ones are free to sign up with. I put all of this money in a savings account also. My favorite program is https://www.opinionoutpost.com/join?affi.

Best of luck to you!

Since you have an Internet conection why not just make more money in your spare time online? I faced the same problem when I first retired and it is a much more comfortable solution than going without.
