Why do I have to save money?

Top 10 reason Why do I have to save money..

Answer:
In no particular order.
1. If you don't save money you won't have any when you get old. unless you win the lotto. but if you don't then you will end up homeless and possibly dead in the streets and smelly. yeah. smelly and people will make fun of you and point and hold their noses when they walk by you. and you will be all like. "why does no one love me or want me around?". and then you will remember that you are a smelly homeless person and that IF you would of saved money that you would maybe be able to at least afford a hotel room and be able to take a shower. then you would not be so smelly!

2. College fund
3. Leave your kids something when you die.
4. To buy nice things/Take nice vacations.
5. Because you can't spend it all in one place.
6. Don't know. cause I don't save it. I spend all my money and will probably end up as #1.

Hope you enjoyed the laughs :)
so that your future wouldn't be so bleak! you have money to spend even if your a s s is already twitching while you're sitting in a cafe, swearing at young people passing you by
1) The price of EVERYTHING is going up and will never come back down.

2) It is better to save a little than to spend it all, you might need it and not have it.

3) Saving conditions you to think more responsibly.

4) Saving will make you feel less stressed because you know you have something set aside in case of an emergency.

5) Nothing is guaranteed, not your job or anything.

6) It is better to have money for a purchase than to use a credit card.

7) There may come a time if you have saved that you can relax and enjoy yourself rather than working until you are put in the ground.

8) It is better to have saved than to have to borrow.

9) If you save now you will keep conditioning yourself for the hardships in the future.

10) The best lesson you can learn before moving out on your own is saving.
1 - when you get older, social security will not give you enough to live on. Either put it away yourself slowly (after 10 years the total of what you put away will double because of accumulated interest - that's why retired people seem to have so much money to use on cruises!) or you are the whim of the lowest bidder to provide housing to you.

2 - got a problem with medical issues? Tough. Unless you have a job that has wonderful medical beinifts, a sinlge cavity can cost as much as $500 to get fixed!

3 - Interest rates - I hate having to pay interest, so when possible, save up money and pay for things outright. Not possible for most people to go out and just buy a house, but the more you put down the less you end up paying in interest.

4 - "oops". Broke something? Ok, if you don't save up, you wait till you HAVE to get something fixed.

5 - If you don't have money, you don't eat. If that isn't reason enough, you need to re-evaluate your view on the whole "living" thing.

6 - Security. Like it or not, money buys comforts and safety. Live on the streets for a month, then go home and be glad you can afford a door with a lock.

7 - Education - it feeds your ability to make more of the stuff you are asking about. Without a good education your job opportinites are limited to things that usually have you limping or asking "you want fires with that?". College costs money - and see point 3 as to why it helps to pay off what you can when bills come in.

8 - FUN! I take my family on good vacations - cruises, week trips to major resorts with all the goodies. Without saving up money we'd be stuck doing trips to the local park and after a while it's painful to keep telling your kids (and yourself) "can't afford it".

9 - Time off. Not everyone gets a lifetime job. When you are between jobs you still have to live, right?

10 - Bad luck. Ever get caught in a disaster? Ever see the people who have no home after a flood or fire? If you don't have someone paying your insurance, you have to. If you don't have it and things go sour, you are going to be wondering what to do.
For a rainy day !

5. Plus your children could have a little as an in hereitence rather than saying "My parents left me nothing but bills".
