What can a father due to prevent ifraudulant-illegal acts by his son carrying the same name son is jr?

Answer:
You can make sure that everything you do is recorded as Sam S. Smith, Sr. to help avoid confusion.

You can also put an alert on your credit file or pay for one of those services that alerts you to any activity on your credit report.
on your financial business use your initials and last name
Be a real father, spend time with him, understand him, help him with his needs, be sure that your son loves you and he will never dissapoint you.
Otherwise, it is feasible that he finds a way to fraud you
Do you or your son live in a small town if so then it would be a lot easier because you are probably known at least some what but other than that I would definitly agree with your other response I have seen it even in my small town and you realllllly need to be clear that any transactions you have is put down on paper that your Sr. also do the credit thing and any place you use alot that your son is a Jr. and clarify that it is not ok to group them together. I have someone in my small town with the same first and last name also birth year as me I get phone calls for this and that so if he doesn't live in at the same address when you do things specilfy your address. My name is now my first, last and address. I hope that this helps. Remember follow through no matter how inconveinent it is.
Put a "fraud alert" on your credit report.that will slow things down. Talk to your local police or a lawyer.that's all I can tell you.
