Go to HGTV.com and maybe they have some helpful info to get your name out there. You can always enter there designer finals show they have interns participate in.
Here's an idea. Since real estate is the hottest thing nowadays. You should contact your local realtors and ask if you can help to "stage" any houses that they have for sale. They'll probably even pay for the design elements. Be sure to leave lots of your business cards and flyers around the houses.
Work with contractors who are building new construction. They might be able to use your services or ideas.

do quality work in a timely manner give your clients what they contract you to do and then try to give just a little extra on each job. rember that your customers expect you to tell them what they need. You are the professional!
