About Bill Me LAter.?

I'm trying to buy somehting from the internet and I need it by tuesday, if I go and deposit my check now i won't be able to get it until next friday, so i'm thinking about the Bill Me Later option. What i don't know is if they will bill me the exact amount of how much it costs in the future or will it be some interests coming along with it, if yes, how much? is there a big risk using the Bill Me Later? Thanks.

Answer:
Depends on the offer you get from BML. Sometimes, they do a 90 days same as cash (for purchases over a certain amount), and sometimes, they charge you interest from the get-go.

Check out your offer and see which it is. If it is in fact the 90 days same as cash, with minimum payments, you should get billed the exact amount that you charged.

Just be sure to pay off the balance BEFORE the 90 days / statement due date! Else, be ready for a bonus charge.

Hope that helps!
If this is what I think it is, you have to have reasonably good credit in order to qualify. And if you do qualify for it, the intrest rates are VERY steep. I do not know what you are buying or how much it costs but I am sure that its not cheap. Nobody gives you something for nothing.
I've used it once before and if I am remembering right my first bill was for the exact amount of my purchase. I didn't pay it all at once but the second bill had interest on it in which I payed the rest of the bill. I must say the interest was not that bad.
There is no particular risk in most "bill me later" options. If there is any aditional charge, it would have to be specfied, somewhere on the site. There is no "standard" amount or percentage, so, no one, here, can tell you that.

The option is more risky for the vendor, since he has to deliver the goods or services before he sees his money.
