Do those infomercials on real estate no money down really work or is the info seller getting rich?

Only the person selling the program gets rich. Very few people make money this way. And with the real estate market softening, investing in real estate right now is a gamble unless you can afford any loss.
if you talk to a good mortgage broker you can get most of that info for free
they are getting rich on the videos and books of course honestly people don't share secrets to take away their profits investors are always looking for deals because they are hard to come by because of competition so why not sell some books
It's a scam. If it worked, the seller would be doing THAT rather than hawking his crap on an infomercial! ;-)
We bought something like this...It was like 350.00. You can look at it like they are getting rich off you, but if you take that information, which is MORE than the average real estate agent is going to reveal (since their commission is based on what you buy) and actually use it while researching for your purchases..it is worth it.
Even if you know someone in the realsestate biz, it cant hurt to know more. You just gotta decide if the knowledge is worth paying for, you could most likely research in books and on the web for free.
Why aren't they advertising on Forbes or Fortune?
