A good salary for London, UK?

Hi guys, can you tell me a good salary someone could earn in London? Nothing extraordinary, just good life in a good place (renting an appartment) with good car and going out every week. Figures please.
Thanks.

Thats too vague to answer without making assumptions about you. Making the assumptions on what you consider to be good, I would say you need to be earning at least £30k a year.
20k be cool!
30000 per annum
You can get a room in a shared house for £80 per week if on a budget. A two bed flat well placed would be £250 per week. Beer costs £2.50 - £3.50 per pint, Wine in a restaurant is going to start at £15 and a meal out for 2 with wine will not be less than £50. Sports clubs start at £40 per month for a gym and the average 3 bed house price seems to be over £250K.

Good luck, whatever you earn I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Lots of people earn £30K and we're made to feel like we should be greatful for it. Quite frankly it doesn't go very far so push for more if you're negotiating!
I think anything under £30k is out of the question. Even at £30k, you would not save any money.
