I really need a loan for $8500 and yes I have bad credit but nothing recent, I want to try prosper.com but not real sure how it all works or if I will receive the loan can anyone tell me alittle more? Thanks

The best way I have found to get a loan is to save up a lot of money to make a decent down payment on the loan.
Get all of your documents together (paystubs, written budget, etc.) and take it to the bank and show them that you will be able to make the payment.
