Start by calling your bank and comparing rates and closing costs. A few you should try. Citizens (old charter one), M&T, HSBC, Wakovia. Definately look at fixed rate loans, unless you plan on selling the place w/in 4/5 years.then go w/ an ARM.
If this is your first home purchase, look at a first time home mortgage. The rates will be much cheaper and you won't have to put much $ down.
