Is it a good idea to invest money in a 2 year CD/Certificate?

Is it a good idea, considering the market and interest rates, to invest in a 2 year CD or Certificate? What bank would you suggest?

Answer:
Its a good idea because instead of having your money sit and not gain interest is a waste. Now is it the best idea, no. I feel if you devote a little time and do a little research mutal fund or plain stocks would be better, and gain more interest
CDs really don't have that great of a return rate. They're good for short term investing.

Try a mutual fund. Much better rate of return.
