How can I close my old PF account, currently im working in US.?

I was working in bangalore and left the company and joined US company, now how can I close the PF account and transfer the PF money to my bank account.

Senthil there are 2 possibilities.

1. Do you still have good relationship with the company, Then conta ct you company HR and they will ask you to send the PF Closure form to be sent to them, You can download those forms from the internet, Fill the required info like Bank Details, Your Details.Leave the company details apart which will be taken care of your company HR guys. Send the form within 30 days of submission you will get the money.

2. Bit Rude way and never tried (but my friends used this way). for this you should know your PF Number. Get the PF Closure form Fill in all the details everything. Get a signature for a local Magistrate in your home town in india and submit it in th office.

The one below is very comfortable way..need to spend some money for this.
There are some agents available, I dont know any contacts in bangalore. You can get it from your local friends who is residing in Bangalore. Give them the details they will get it for you.

What else?? after getting the PF give me a party mate :-)
