If I start a new job and flexible spending account, will I be reimbursed for items paid prior to start date?

I have a bunch of medical receipts over the last couple of months. I want to take full advantage of the flex spending account when I start my new job. Will receipts dated prior to my start date be accepted for reimbursement or will only those receipts after the start date be okay? Thanks

They will not reimburse any money spent before the start date. All the receipts have to be dated after the start date. Flexible spending accounts are great.

im not sure..you can try asking a pharamatist..they'll probably know..but im sure there no problem in that
