About gas prices and the rising costs of living..?
Answer:
Definitely. But then it will cause prices to go higher because of inflation. It's a vicious cycle. I have an awful feeling, we're right on the verge of catastrophe. Either another terrorist attack, or world war 3 is coming soon.
If they didn't make profits then they couldn't pay you.
Ah yes, the beauty of capitalism. I love the smell of exploiting the lower middle class in the morning! I hear crack dealing and hookin' is pretty lucrative.
I agree, they even cancel work if there isn't enough so people don't half to drive so far. I think something needs to be done, and to think gas is going up to 4 bucks a gallon by Christmas?
I belive their should be a MAXIMUM WAGE.that includes stock options and other non-cash compensation as well as base salary.
NOBODY deserves to make 100 million a year.I don't care what they do. That money is just coming off of the backs of the workers.
People are just corrupt.that is why communism doesn't work.the leaders steal everything for themselves.just like in a capitalistic society.
That'd be nice if they raised wages and left the cost of living the same...but the cost of living would rise with wages..
Then get a job that doesn't pay minimum wage.
That means you have to get a good education and show ambition at whatever job you work.
If you want them to pay bigger wages when they are making big profits, are you willing to take a pay cut when they are not?
sure thing n it aint gonna get better.
It makes it difficult for those earning a minimum wage, to make ends meet, and frequently causing those to work two, or more jobs. Minimum wages cause families to spend long hours away from their families, and do more harm, than good. A wage hike would be good, in keeping with the rising costs of living, but a better approach is to focus on education. Stay in school, strive to be the very best, and continue education, be it college, or trade school. Education is the key to overcoming poverty, and ultimately finding a much better life for yourself, and family. Don't let your age, or lack of finances hold you back from continuing your education. There are so many programs to assist you financially, with job placement available. If this option is not for you then there are companies like Lowe's that pay beyond minimum wage, offer health insurance, with stock options, and a 401K program.
amen, I think my company should give all of us a raise.
Prices of everything is going up up up while wages is not following with an equivalent raise. Even when wages do go up, prices of things double to take advatage of the situation. My blood pressure is also going up up up.
