$2000 loan/Bad credit??
Answer:
I found a solution that worked for me. It might work for you too.
I had some pretty serious credit problems…some were not my fault and, I guess, a few were. I listened to the so-called “experts” who said they could fix my credit report and I spent money I didn’t have. I didn’t have any luck trying to get my credit report fixed.
I remember paying for the services that these Credit Repair Companies had to offer. The companies told me that they could have negative items removed from my credit reports without any problem, Yeah, right. This did not happen at all. Most of the companies wanted to charge me a set up fee anywhere from $39 to $299 for their services. Not only did they charge this set up fee, most of them also wanted to charge me from $29 to $49 monthly while they “attempted” to repair my credit report. These companies offered no guarantee that their services would actually work and, believe me, they didn’t.
I was about ready to give up when I found a lady who had been through the same thing and who had found a solution. She figured out how get all the negative items removed from her credit report within 3 months without paying anyone a penny. She developed a fast, easy, step-by-step process that she guarantees will work for everyone. She sells the complete plan with all the help and instructions for $47.00.
I know what you are thinking…”another $47 down the drain,” and that’s kind of what I was thinking too. But, I figured that since she offers a 100% money back guarantee I had nothing to lose.
Well, I tried it and it was amazing. I got all of the negative items removed from my credit report and my credit score went from 553 to 715 in only 3 months. All I can say is that it worked great for me. I suggest you check it out. You can always get your money back if it doesn’t work for you. If it works even half as well for you as it did for me you will never even think about asking for a refund.

"The online marketplace for people-to-people lending"
Not only can you borrow money from private lending individuals, but you can also become a lender as well. You can also create a group of borrowers and get better loan rates for your whole group!
Hope this helps
Hi,
I work for a mortgage broker. He would be "sub-prime" and you will need to find a lender willing to "risk" the low credit scores. He will need proof of employment, W2's, pay stubs, etc. Also, he will probably have to prove he has lines of credit, (mortgage, cell phone bill, rent) that he is able to pay and has been consistent with. Encourage him to pay off some loans to bring up the score. DO NOT CHECK SCORE ONLINE IT WILL DROP YOUR CREDIT SCORE.
Please, PLEASE feel free to write for more advise, this can be done. I see it all the time.

Somebody he knows must have some credit cards, enough to get $2,000.
Advance from job?
Garage sale?
What about those newspaper ads that say "Have a settlement coming in - get your cash now?"
A friend, co-worker or boss could co-sign.
Certain loans can be put into a suspended state (called a forbearance). You can do this with student loans. If he is making payments on these loans he should contact the loan company and inquire about suspending payment. The difference in what he is spending from his monthly budget on this type of loan could cut the gap on his $2000 debt quickly.
Even if he comes up with $2000, what about the mortgage for the next 12 months? A sum of money now seems like only a short term solution. An unfortunate situation calls for more discomfort. Finding a second job (evenings/weekends if he has a day job now) really is the best route. Yes, it will mean less time with his family, but what about the pain of an eviction? Is there some sort of job she could do (maybe answering phones for customer service) or is the disability extreme? Does this couple have a car they could sell? If she isn't working, then they wouldn't need a second car (if they have 2) for awhile.
Unfortunately, an individual has only one person he/she can ultimately rely upon.him/herself. Hoping/expecting assistance from friends, family, the gov't is a gamble at best.
For anyone reading this, how many of you have an emergency fund of 3-6 months living expenses (or more)? Anyone can have a medical problem in an instant causing a loss of work/income. Buy some disability insurance as well. It is low cost for peace of mind.
