Would it be a wise to get some shares of amd there $15 now and over the last 7 years its been as hi as $50?

Answers:
No, they are in big trouble. Most analysts are predicting this stock to be in the single digits. The only reason it's $15 is that in their last conference call, they said they were "open to private equity", so many people bought/covered shorts thinking someone might be interested in buying them out.

Business-wise they have declining margins and are losing market share to Intel. They have some promising products about 9 months out so I would wait to make sure there are no delays and their new chips are as good as people have been speculating. They also announced a restructuring, so wait to see how that progresses and if they are reducing fixed costs and showing a rebound to profitability.
No. Tech stocks are on the decline and aren't going to rebound for at LEAST 3 months - the market is currently doing well but don't expect tech stocks to climb out of the dumps for another quarter.
If they ever win their lawsuit vs. Intel they will skyrocket.
One good things about stocks is that you can only lose 100% of your money. You can always make more then 100% if you pick the right ones.

Do you know anything more about this company other then their 7 year high was $50? Most companies right now are hitting all time highs, why is this one so weak? Are they on the verge of a big breakthrough nobody knows about? doubtful.
ALOT OF GOOD STOCKS SURVIVIE DIPS IN THEIR VALUE. A RECENT EXAMPLE IS CCL. TECH STOCKS SEEM TO THRIVE OR DIE. (RECENT EXAMPLE apple computer)
