I was left a 10,000 lira bill italian money, now the euro, can i still convert it to U.S. money?

Lira has been changed to the euro, can i still trade in a 10,000 lira bill to us dollars that was left to me in a safe deposit box..??

Answer:
If it make you feel any better, 10,000 lira is only about $6.5 US dollar. Even if you are able to convert, the service charge will take away a lot of it.

It might be worth more money if you try selling to antique or collector stores.

Best wishes.
You can't. To late I'm afraid. You might be able to sell it to a dealer but don't expect to get more then $5 for it.
