How do I cash a check from Singapore in America?

I have a check for S$400 I got in Singapore (it's from United Overseas Bank, aka UOB). Is there any way I can cash it here in the United States of America?

You can't cash it unless they have a branch there. Just deposit it in your account. It'll take about 10 days or so to clear.
Yeah, just deposit it in your bank account. Wait a month (sometimes more) before it totally clears although you might be able to withdrawl it before then. I hope you know where its coming from, theres a lot of scamming going on out there. Good luck.
i agree with amanda, just be carefull. make sure you know well the person whose sent that check.
