Sadly you will be lucky to find a job under the age of 16 these days.

Health & Safety and political correctness have stepped in

its free. you make alittle money...nice to have a little spending money
When I was your age (and living in Stafford) I worked every Sunday in a garden centre coffee shop. There are limits and regulations to how much time you can work though so it's finding a company that will take you on.

The other way is to work for family and friends. I used to spend many half-terms helping my Auntie and Uncle out in their offices. They just gave me a little money to say thank you. It looks great on your CV as well when you are looking for a proper job.

Last option is to do odd jobs for family and friends - walking dogs, washing cars etc. I wouldn't advise going out and about to strangers washing cars etc. unless you had an adult or older kids with you.

Hope that has helped!
Nowadays, people make money not by working but by suing people, preferably the government. Claim to have hurt yourself on some council equipment or been discriminated against in some way, ageism perhaps. Or you could aim for the creme de la creme, wrongful arrest.

Move with the times!
