Am i responsible for cashing a check that had no funds?

Answer:
If you wrote a check and it was returned for insufficient funds, you will have to make it good.

If you received a check that you could not cash due to insufficient funds, and the check writer refuses to make it good, file a criminal complaint at your local police department.

Good luck with your finances.
If you ran it through your bank, and wrote checks on it you'll be responsible for any bounced checks on your account.
