Did any one find anything pushy or strange about the people at Primerica Financial.?
Answer:
Just your typical multi-level marketing crowd. The same folks who used to try to sell you Amway and Herbalife stuff are now parading as financial advisors.
I thoroughly considered one of their home loans, but compared to a standard mortgage it really sucked. I'm a Math major with an MBA so I was able to see through the smokescreen, but they disguise it very well by having you make extra payments and then routing some of the payments into an investment.
Not even the agents really understand what they are selling (crap).
In what way? Are you currently with Primerica or looking to have a policy with them? If you do not have an account with Primerica, the answer to your question: they're sales people!!
Of course they are going to be pushy. All finance companies are going to be like that. They want to sign you up for a policy; that's how they make their money. Once you sign up, they won't bother you as much; they already have your money.
It is a pyramid financial company. There are better jobs and financial companies out there. They sell mutual funds. Stick to no load funds with a discount broker if that is what you are looking for.
I was in Primerica before, and I know their information inside out. At first, i really think their products was great. After I worked there for few months, know more people and products, then I found out their products not necessary the greatest.
Term insurance was expensive, debt consolidation was high interest, investment is in the mid range return.
Primerica rep is just another salesperson, they sell their own brand. If they identify you/your family any chances for improvement with their FNA (Financial Needs Analysis). They you can go to a bank, or mortgage broker, or insurance broker. I am sure you will find a better product, and after-sales elsewhere.
Well, every agent acts differently. I currently work there and I don't see myself as pushy person. I invite someone to office, then I interview them, and find out what their decision is. I really don't need anyone on my team. Other agents come off as very needy people and try to sell the dream and attempt to force the prospect to join. It really should be the other way. The prospect should be selling themselves to the recruiter on why they want to join. If they join, that's great because we can help more families.
As for seeing a family, I'm not a sales type of person. I don't tell people why they should buy PFS products. All I do is compare their current program with Primerica's program and have them make up their own decision.
I guess my point is that I want to build an ethnical business that focus on doing the right thing for the client and have reps think about their client instead of how much money they going to earn. Money will always be around. People say they don't have enough money. The truth is, you will always have money. So money isn't the issue.
As for being Strange? Yes, we are the strangest people you will ever see. Most of us are excited about the opportunity and carry this positive attitude with them. Do you want to work with people who are negative all the time or people who are positive? Being positive is not normal, so I guess I can see why you think PFS is strange.
