Money Questions and work arounds? please help?
Answer:
Wells Fargo does not accept Debit transactions as far as I know. Just credit. And if you do not have enough cash in your account to cover it, they will not accept it.
You could write a money order to yourself, but you have to have the money to pay for it.
Why not just make a partial payment now & pay the rest as soon as you get the money?
Am I understanding this correctly? You want to make a loan payment with money you don't have?
You can't "borrow" on your debit card. A debit card is an immediate withdrawal from your checking account so if the money isn't in the account, you can't take it out. Maybe you can borrow the missing money from your father. That would complete the circle. Or you could try borrowing from friends (although that's a good way to lose friends). But no matter what, you can't take money you don't have out of a checking account through your debit card. You can write a check that will bounce in a few days, but why would you mess up your life like that?
Take a class on personal finance i.e. Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University and learn how money works.
In the meantime work out a payment plan with dad and NEVER borrow money from relatives again. If you want to help relatives that's fine, but make it a gift and not a loan (means you got to have money to give, won't ever happen by doing things like what you are talking about)
