What is the best company to work for to secure a good retirement?

I work in retail and have a 401 k but it is not adding up fast enough. Other companies that would take 6 years manager experience?

Answers:
I wouldn't rely upon your current employer or future employer to secure your retirement. I'd take that responsibility yourself.

Step 1: Live beneath your means. Whatever you earn, live like someone who earns 10% less (and this is perfectly possible, because you know there are people in your neighborhood who do exactly that).

Step 2: Invest that 10% in your 401k, with company match if applicable, and invest it appropriately for your age.

Step 3: Own your own home, rather than renting.

That's how to secure a good retirement.

Good luck,

Doug
