Are most companies that promise prizes all scams?

companies that send promises of rewards for very little, how can I find out which are scams?

Answer:
If you do not check a company before purchasing a product or service from it, you could lose your money, time and credibility. Some widely used resources are the Better Business Bureau (www.bbb.org) and the national fraud center (www.fraud.org).

These days, you can easily find out more about a company using the Internet in a few minutes. From a company's website, you can get details about its ownership, how old the company really is and feedback from the company's customers.

By reading the fine print. Find out what the real prize actually is, what the odds are of winning (they are required by law to disclose this), and what you would have to go through to collect your prize.

For the most part, you're right..most "prizes" are just a scam to get you to spend money. Some prizes are such a hassle to get something little and aren't worth the time.
Yes.
there's nothing for nothing in this world goodie, and dont bother to check them out just give them the brush, they will invite you to press a number and keep you talking with you picking up the phone bill at the end
