How can I cash an investment check made out to me and my dad? He lives in a diff state.?



Answer:
You can't. You need to send it to him. He can either:
1) cash it
2) endorse it to you and send it back (via a secure method)
overnight mail it to him, have him sign and mail back to you for your signature
If it's made out to "you and Dad".you have to have two signatures. And I would never suggest forging someones name because it could come back to haunt you.

If it's made out to "you or Dad".one signature is required.
ask your bank, you may hae to have his signature guaranteed
