Is it better to quit or get fired from a job?

Is it better to quit or get fired from a job? If at work they will evntually fire you anyways, and you have enoh cash to last you while you are on break.

Answers:
It's better in general for your career to quit in a manner that does not burn any bridges for you. You say they are going to eventually fire you anyway, does that mean you are working on a temporary or contracting basis? If so, it's better to wait that out as you can collect unemployment at the end while you search for a new job.
It depends on how you feel about the job. If you really think that you could make it for a while with out that job until you get a better one then you do what your heart says to do.
On your resume? Quiting with two weeks notice is best.
it is better to quit than get fired. in most cases a firing Will show on your credit report for 7 years, quitting won't show at all
i say to quit b/c atleast u can leave with ur dignity...bt the decision's all up to you!!
keep working and keep kissing their asses. life is tough, just keep doing what they say, and hold on to that job, till u r fired
I think this depends on many things.

1. If you are fired, you may qualify for unemployment. If you quit, you don't.
2. If you quit, you can say on your next interview, that you were looking for other opportunities or things just didn't work out.

Depends on your situation and how much money you have in your bank account.
Depends on the circumstanses of why they might let you go. If it's more of a downsizing then it might be better to stay till they let you go. That way there are no hard feelings.
If they have some reason to want to let you go then it kind of doesn't matter because either way when your next possible employer calls for a reference all they will do is confirm the length of your employment. They kind of can't say anthing else because then you could sue them for something. But if that's all they are willing to say then the next company knows something not so good happened.
uhhh duhhhhhh....quit & give 2 weeks notice..leave on good terms so that when your interviewing sometime in the future you won't have anything to worry about
If they are going to fire you anyway, it's better to get fired. That way you are eligible for unemployment benefits.
