I'm injured and not working. What can I do to make some money at home?

I am temporarily in a wheelchair due to surgery on two broken heels. Workers comp just isn't enough to cover my bills and I don't know how we (my wife and I and 3 children) are going to make it by. My injuries are career ending and I'm lost. I've been in construction my whole life. What can I do to make some money ?

Answer:
You may earn money by using Google Adsense.

If you got a website or a web-blog, you could make money with putting advertisements on your site (by google). If someone clicks on these ads, you will earn money.

If you don't have a website, you may start creating web-blogs (mostly free) with advertisements (google ads) on it.

You may sell things at Ebay. Some people do business with Ebay and they just live on income from ebay. You may like to look at it.

you could be some kind of telemarketer or tech support person. those require little physical effort. You could also try ebay.

I think if you actually start earning your own money, you're no longer entitled to your benefits either, which could make things even harder.
There are alot of work from home sites.Try one. google it for results.
Go to college and get some credentials for something like medical transcription. That's a job that wouldn't be effecting by the "after effects" of your injuries and it's something you can do from home. But as for right now.most of those survey things you sign up for online.are scams. Found out the hard way. I joined one that didn't cost anything to sign up for but they won't pay you until you earn enough "points" to cash out and they only send you a survey a couple times a month so it's not worth it. Don't go that route.
Try this it works amazingly well.

Make gel candles.

Rent out a room or two .like a Bed and Breakfast.

Have the kids mow lawns part time.

Tutor people.what do you know or what are you good at?

Have some garage sales ebay sales or go pawn some stuff at pawn shops, I SOLD IT, etc.

Have your children put donation jars out in stores explaining your situation.

Plant your own food in the backyard so you dont have to buy as much. Buy in bulk at Costco.

Cancel all services you don't need - cable etc..

Thats all I can think of goood luck.

there are many opportunities for ppl to work online nowadays and earn some extra money, by making deir own webcites, thru ebay, survey opportunities etc..

however, there are many scams operating on the net and one needs to be careful and not get scammed!

Some widely used resources for checking them are the Better Business Bureau (www.bbb.org) and the national fraud center (www.fraud.org).

These days, you can easily find out more about a company using the Internet in a few minutes. From a company's website, you can get details about its ownership, how old the company really is and feedback from the company's customers.
