How to collect money from debtors who refuse to pay?

Well if you are a company you can end a letter of payment. Other than that you can get help from laywers.
If its a friend you can take them to small claims court..but good luck.
The best way is to hand it over to a professional firm who handles this. They will charge you a percentage of the debt, but at least you will get some of the money back. If you were paid by a cold check then you can go to the county attorney and press charges through that office which should cost you nothing.
If you attempt to get the money on your own you may find that you have crossed some legal lines and wind up with more problems than you expected.
i hear ya doll, just posted a question to see will i get sued if i sent them out a letter stating that they owe money and they have to options and they have 14 from recieving the letter to deal with the matter or we will let our credit agency handle the matter, so write a letter bascially of warning nad if they still dont pay then u have to splash out in a credit agency to try and retrive the monies.. goodluck gal
