I have no residential proof aur ID proof...... Please help
What is the procedure to Open an saving/current in Post office in India. What is the difference between post office saving/current a/c and bank a/c.

Answers:
Just go to your neighbourhood post office and meet the post master concerned. He'll be too happy to guide you. Any existing Post Office account holder can identify you. A postman or a Savings Agent who hangs around the Post Office can also identify you. You can also obtain a photo identity card from post office for versatile use on payment of a nominal fee.
You will get more interest for your deposited money in post office. But with out proof you cannot do anything.
You need to have residential proof for opening account either in post office or in Bank. You need to have one photo proof and one resident proof.
In saving account you can do limited transactions and also earn some interest on you money but in current account you can do un-limited transaction but need to pay some charges to bank.
