How Much Do You Save Each Month?
Answer:
I save 10% of every paycheck. Also any time I receive a bonus or unexpected raise I put that into savings.
A large part of my savings goes into a money market account. Then I try to put at least $1000 into a mutual fund that I have through State Farm as often as possible.
My money is for my retirement which is about 30-40 years away and to pay for my kids college funds if they don't get scholarships or need anything extra.
Try saving 10% of each check and you'll be amazed how quickly it adds up.
I also never spend any loose change. I put it all in a 5 gallon bucket and by the end of the year I always have almost $1000. It's great.
I'm not frugle though.I like spending money but I just make sure that I save...
300 quid a month - i use it to make more money (get very good interest rates).
i automatically get 20% of my take home pay put into a long term tax deferred savings account via the Bank through direct deposit - i find that this works for me and i make sure i do not touch this money ever - this is my retirement fund.
the balance of my money stays in my checking and i also got a checking account that pays some interest at the end of the month if there is anything left over i transfer the balance to my retirement fund as this yields a higher percentage
a hundred dollars.
I save 80% of my salary every month. Just because I have something to spend it on that will help me to get a career that I deserve...
