How do I find out what stock gives dividends or slipt in the future?

How do I find out what stocks give dividends or what stocks will split in the future?

If there a way to find out?

Answers:
There really is no way of telling what stocks will split. That's entirely at the discretion of the company. Youmight look to see if a company has a history of splitting the stock, that could be an indicator if they might do it in the future. Some companies, like Berkeshire, never split their stocks.

With dividends, if you can find a company that has a history of paying a consistent dividend, it's a great sign they will continue to pay that dividend in the future. If a company discontinues a regular dividend, it is seen as a sign of trouble. However, dividends are also entirely at the company's discretion and can be cut or eliminated at any time so there is no way to know with 100% certainty that a company will pay a dividend.

To find companies that have a strong history of paying regular dividends, check out directinvesting.com. You can search for companies that have a dividend reinvestment program. If they have a reinvestment program, they're probably pretty committed to their dividend payments.
all stock give dividends and slipt just some do it more than others
Not all stocks pay dividends or have split in the past. For a specific stock you can find out that information, dividend and split, in Yahoo Finance.
.
For your dividend info, go to: http://www.dividenddetective.com...
For the " splits calendar" go to:
http://finance.myway.com
under " research, you'll find a splits calendar.
Dividends are NOT paid by all companies, only usually by mature value companies ( GE, 3M etc.) Dividend payout rates and future changes in these rates must be disclosed by the company. As far as a split is concerned, companies will disclose this information if it will occur. Not all companies split its stock either. There is no way to find out this information pre-emtively in a legal manner.
