If individual shareholder want to sell his stock?

If individual shareholder want to sell his stock, and no one is willing to buy because of the value of that particular stock (for instance, its value goes down to zero), who is going to buy/redeem it eventually?

Answer:
You do not have to sell it. Just write the cost off your income tax as if you sold it December 31, 2006. An write beside the entry worthless. You can deduct only $3000 against ordinary income each year for a total of 3 years. But you can deduct the entire loss against stock gains.
