WHAT DOES IT MEAN BY *-BONUS AND EX-BONUS( related to capital market.)?

i get some times confuse about companies announcement like *-bonus, ex-bonus etc.kindly reply me in trme if capital market i mean share,f&o etc.

Answer:
* bonus means * Bonus i.e. Price including the declared or to be declared Bonus shares. Ex bonus menans opposite. Price excluding the Price of the Bouns share.
Bonus is free shares given from company against shares which we hold. its declared in various ratios e.g. if company declares bonus in ratio of 1:1 it means u get 1 share free with ur 1 share held that means ur holding will become double. Ex bonus means when ur shares qty get change as per ratio and price also get adjusted as per ratio( after record date fixed by company).
