My wife has been left a Cartier .?
Anyone have any idea whats its worth..??
Answer:
If your wife's necklace is in good condition it is more than likely Cartier will be interested in purchasing the item themselves, due to the age. If your wife does not want to sell it, then ask Cartier how much it would cost to replace, since you will need insurance to cover loss/theft. Worth a trip to London, have a spot of lunch, see some sights, give Cartier a ring first though. Good luck
i don't have any idea...are the pearls still in good condition..what is the clasp made of...white gold or gold?
To get a fair and accurate valuation contact Cartier or Christies or Southeby's. Please be careful who you have touch your jewelry...
Best get insured just in case. A jeweller will value it for you but may charge you for doing so. Lucky lady your wife. Don't let everyone finger it as may get damaged. Tell them they can look but not touch.
Get it valued and insured as quickly as possible, and don't tell anyone about it.
It will be worth a fortune
If you're thinking of selling it, get it valued by a few different jewellers first.
Search the completed listings on eBay and see if you can find something similar. Take it to a dealer and get it valued. Remember that they'll be offering UNDER what it's worth, as they'd only want to resell it.
to christian, they have a walk in service that you ca get that valued, or Soresby
