American Partners Bank offers 5.80% for a 1-yr jumbo CD. Don't know the quality, though.
You could make way more investing International than in CD's. There are insured investments paying 8-12% MONTHLY on average. Get out the calculator. 12% compunded monthly is like $289,000 in a year. Plus you can access the money anytime. Personally I won't invest domestic again.
