My dad said "keep your money in the fridge, as cold cash is always best" was dad joking?

Answer:
Of course your dad was joking. Did you ever find his cash in the family fridge ? Just invest it wisely in the best accounts possible
maybe
no he wasn't joking - hard cold cash is king and getting in the red is not!
UM YHA i THINK SO BUT IF YOU EVER NEED TO HIDE IT THAN JUST HIDE IT IN A FROZEN DINNER OR SOMTHING YHA HEARD
no it was his way of saying.dont spend everything you make save some you never know when you may need some hard cash fast..in other words save for a rainy day (thats the way my dad put it)
he's joking! you dont need to refrigerate your money to have a cold cash.
LoL!
I guess it would be safe in there if you got robbed.
What do you think?
dont think he actually meant keep it in the fridge
Just a saying but good advice, save your money for a rainy day! There is another one for ya.
does dad have a paranoia about banks kinda like putting your money under your bed, he may also mean have some cash on hand always in case you need to make a quick evacuation in case of say a hurricane like Louisiana,or any other natural disaster where banks/computers may be down.
along with get some elbow grease out of the cupboard please son.
Yes, no, maybe! It could be a joke. But, it may be a good safe place to hide money. I not think a Thief would be looking there except to get a cold Beer. But, you never know, the Thief may want some Cold "Lettuce"!
If that means freezing your credit card in a block of ice - no.
Literally this would be bad advice. Cash depreciates and currency gets recalled so that over time it would loose value. Figuratively, this could be very sound advice. Cash enables you to offer sellers immediate gratification. As the saying goes, "In a recession, cash is king." So in that circumstance, having cash on hand is a very good thing.
No! Ever heard of figure of speech?
